The Systems Medicine Lab is within the Department of Therapeutics & Pharmacology at the University of Liverpool. We are affiliated to the Centre of Excellence for Long-acting Therapeutics. 

To turn data into insights, we invent new algorithms. We build computational models. We inspect the implicit and explicit assumptions. We validate model predictions with existing data and by performing new experiments. This drives out the guesswork and reduces risks.

Our research focuses on urgent healthcare issues including cancer, infectious disease, multimorbidity and polypharmacy. We work on treatment efficacy and drug safety.
